This week, we’re launching a new programme called Retail Ready People – a fantastic opportunity for young people aged 16-25yrs who want to work or progress in retail.

Kicking off in Brighton and Enfield, we’ll be recruiting 60 young people who’ll use their skills, creativity and imagination to bring new life to an empty shop.

With training and support from experts in retail, business and pop-up shops, each team will combine their energy and ideas to transform tired and disused spaces into interesting and colourful pop-up projects that will entertain and entice local people.

Retail Ready People will provide powerful real-life work experience, alongside relevant skills that you can use to succeed.

We are not looking for retail or business experts – the programme is about helping you get where you want to go. We’re keen to meet individuals who are passionate, committed and motivated to make a positive difference in their high street, whilst developing their retail and enterprise skills.

So, if you are aged 16 – 25, living, working or studying in Brighton or Enfield and:
• Already working part-time in retail, but want to progress / get promoted
• Not in education, employment or training – but interested in learning more about retail careers

then Retail Ready People is for you!

The deadline for completed applications is Monday 27th August and we’ll be holding interviews in Enfield and Brighton.
